Herb Market and Culture Feast in Daegu

A few weeks ago Steve and I found ourselves in Daegu and through our wanderings we found ourselves at the traditional medicine market. Which is supposedly very famous throughout Korea.

One of the gates that is at the entry way into the herb market.

Sometimes you can see European influences in architecture as well.

Part of a Buddhist park.

A traditional dance.

With drums.........
and a not so traditional dance.

These dances were part of a culture day that we just happened to have good timing to see.

The elaborate detail on everything here still blows me away.

It's sad when Korean people are so surprised to see us that they go "*intake breath* WAYGOOK!"
