Herb Market and Culture Feast in Daegu 2

We were here a few weeks back now. There was a herb festival on this time and Megan, Jack, Steve and I decided to explore it.

In the middle of the street they had a few very large piles of dirt with herbs growing. This was to show the plants in their natural form before you dried them.
These guys gave us a sliced root to chew on..........I recommend not trying a root if someone hands it to you.
Not so yummy.

Steve tried some deep fried ginseng. It's gonna make you feel good before it kills you. Progress?

These are "pickled" herbs. As you can see there are dozens of them.
